Badger class have made a super start to this school year. At the start of the term, we discussed our rights and responsibilities at school and created our class charter. We have decided on the rights which affect us at school and what we all need to do to make sure we allow everyone to have their rights met.
We are really enjoying learning about ‘Earth and Space’ and have already found out how we know the Earth and Sun are spheres, why we have day and night, researched scientists such as Copernicus and Ptolemy and much more! The children wrote some wonderful poems about the sun and moon based on the book ‘The Planet Gods.’
In PE we have been lucky to have Premier Sports teaching us La Crosse. Our scooping and slinging skills are definitely improving.
As part of our ‘Harvest’ celebrations, we found out about the global goal ‘Zero Hunger’ and made individual pledges considering how we can each make a difference.
We are really looking forward to another exciting term with ‘Space Day’ and our trip to @Bristol.
