This term we have been really busy preparing for our Christmas play! The children had a brilliant time performing and I’m sure you’ll agree they did a fab job. They sang well & were confident delivering their lines on the stage.
We also finished our D&T soup project. The children started research at the start of term and learned about which flavours were our favourites as well as how we should be careful when we peel and chop vegetables. We were then able to make it with some of the potatoes we grew in our vegetable patch! Huge thanks to all who came along to the soup sale to support us. We Made £6 and are looking forward to reading the new book we buy with the money.
This term we also had a very special visitor when the Wolf came to school. We loved learning about his adventures and asking him lots of questions. The children did a great job planning and writing a new story for him all about going on holiday to Australia. What a lucky wolf!
We want to take this chance now to say well done to all of Squirrels class for all of your hard work this term. We look forward to lots of new exciting learning in the New Year.
There is no homework over the holidays – your only job is to make sure you have fun!!
