As always, the second half of Autumn Term has been extremely busy- but once again, the children have all risen to the challenge of an extremely strenuous timetable! The children worked very hard to learn all of the words and actions for the Christmas Concert, which was a great success.
Otter Class have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to Fence! From absolute beginners to holding a tournament in just 7 weeks was an amazing achievement! They have also benefitted from their football sessions led by the Swindon Town coach, where, as well as football skills, they also practised many of our school values including Respect, Cooperation and Tolerance.
Throughout the term, there has been many successes to celebrate- several children have gained their pen licences, higher reading levels have been attained and our regular times tables tests have shown consistently improved results.
I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas cake baked and decorated by your child- watch out Mary Berry, we have some budding bakers!
Finally, we had a real treat on Thursday – a pantomime came to school! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
