This term has been full of fun and new facts. We have all loved learning so much about the Great Fire of London. A highlight of the term was going on our School Trip to Tewksbury and seeing real Tudor houses, we were all so excited to see them! We enjoyed junk modelling our own Tudor houses and discussing what caused the fire to spread so quickly in 1666. We also used similes to create wonderful poems which are displayed in our classroom.
In Maths we have explored time and learning about what we can do in 1 minute. We have also enjoyed learning all about 2D and 3D shapes and discovering all their properties. In PE we have had Mr Sawyer teaching us Gymnastics and we have all made huge progress over the weeks and learnt many new skills.
Work has begun for our Class Assembly next term. We have enjoyed learning new songs and dances to show off to you all on the 31st March. We finished the term off by having all our parents in to share the homework we had completed. Thank you for all the wonderful effort you put in! Enjoy your half term and we look forward to continuing our topic next term!
