Every child’s start to school life is a vitally important period. At Haydon Wick, we do everything we can to make it a smooth, happy, and positive experience. Our early years team places a strong focus on assisting children with the transition from home to school life.
If your child is starting in September, your child will be offered a stay and play session at our school, week beginning 21st June. Dates and times will follow.
In September, you and your child will be invited to a one-to-one meet and greet session with your child's class teacher in the classroom on either Thursday 2nd September or Friday 3rd September. Reception children will start school on Monday 6th September for their first week, with either morning or afternoon sessions. All children start full time on Monday 13th September 2021.
