Well done Badger class for a successful year – you have all worked really hard and produced lots of super work.
We enjoyed reading the end of ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’ and wrote book reviews – it received some excellent ratings! We also produced some fantastic persuasive leaflets about a guided bus tour around Paris. They were very eye-catching and we were definitely persuaded to go on a trip to Paris!
In Science we learned out about ‘Properties of materials’ and investigated thermal insulators by testing which material was the best to keep an ice pop cool. We also investigated dissolving and separating mixtures.
In PSHE we learned about the changes bodies go through during puberty in order to be prepared for this next stage. They also discovered that these changes take place so that their bodies are able to make babies as part of the life cycle of a mammal.
The final week of term has been very busy and our Badger class worked really hard competing in warm weather for our school sports day. They also had great fun taking part in our ‘Glastonwick’ Festival with lots of fun activities and singing.
We wish you all a fantastic Summer holiday and we hope you continue to work hard and enjoy your new classes next year.
