In October we celebrated the festival of light, Diwali . We dressed up and made clay divas. We enjoyed decorating our own Mehndi hands .
We learnt about why we celebrate Firework Night and on Bonfire Night we went outside and ate warm hot dogs and in November we also all helped to raise lots of money for Children in Need.
We were busy in our classroom. reading and writing winter words, writing labels for our models and exploring repeating patterns. We also made a road which you can see in the gallery below, do you like it?
In Maths we have been using number stems and in the gallery you can see a photo showing where we had eight pom poms and two spaces.
We had lots of festive fun in December, including making Christmas cards, role-playing in Santa's Grotto and our cheeky Elf on the Shelf — Sparkle got up to lots of mischief in our classroom!!
We had a Christingle service with Rev Adams where we each made a Christingle and we all enjoyed our delicious Christmas dinner! Our performance of Whoops —A— Daisy Angel was FAB!
Finally we had a special visitor - Father Christmas! We played some party games and had some party food!
