We celebrated French Day in Dragonflies Class.
We made our very own pan au chocolate and it tasted yummy. We created the French flag using the correct colours. We enjoyed listening to Mrs Eaglestone talking. She shared the story of the Hungry Caterpillar with us in French and we joined in with some French singing.
In Maths we have continued to use the numicon and tens frames to help us work with bigger numbers. We designed and then made our own junk model castles.
We always try to be kind in Dragonflies Class however it was really on our minds during World Kindness Day! Look how thoughtful and kind we can be…
During PE with Miss Cox we are becoming great gymnasts. Here we are warming up…. Looks like Ronnie is in charge!
On the NSPCC World Maths Day we celebrated ‘Maths at the Movies’. Here we are looking at Alice in Wonderland and making a pictogram of when our Birthdays are. We sang the ‘Un Birthday Song’ and themed the morning around it not being our Birthday and cupcakes!
