Well done Jaguar class for a successful year – you have all worked really hard and produced lots of super work.
Jaguars class have reached the final term! The year has been amazing, topped off with a fantastic production of Robin Hood called ‘Hoodwinked’. Everyone in Jaguars and Tigers performed brilliantly, they worked really hard on the songs and learning all their lines. We hope all the parents enjoyed the production as much as we did performing it.
Term 6 has also seen lots of treats and enjoyable days for Jaguars; particularly Year 6 (as it is their last year here at Haydon Wick!). Year 6 went swimming and had a lovely picnic treat on the field. They all signed shirts and books and said a farewell to friends as they move onto the next challenge at secondary school.
Sports day was a huge success, Jaguars class joined in with the spirit of the day and produced some great races, well done and congratulations to Hawk Owls who won the team event. Throughout term 6 Jaguars had practiced some of the athletic events as well as rounders for the final term’s PE.
The Glastonwick festival was great fun and a big thank you to the children in Jaguars class for helping and supporting the younger children on the day – making sure they were in the right place and helping with the different activities.
The last couple of weeks were very busy as we were finishing off our adventures stories based on the book ‘Brightstorm’, completing topic work based on Mexico and also making sure our RE and PSHE folders were up-to-date.
Have fantastic Summer holiday and we hope you continue to work hard and enjoy your new classes next year.
