
Tiger class have made a FANTASTIC start to the new academic year!
We are a creative and hard-working class who can get work done independently, and we also work really well together! We have already done an astonishing amount of work for our WW2 topic.
We have been reading ‘Letters from a Lighthouse’ by Emma Carroll and all our writing has been based on Olive, the main character. We wrote a diary entry from the day that Olive and her brother were evacuated from London to the Devon countryside.
In Art we learned to use a vanishing point and created street scenes in the style of Lowry. The dreary and glum colours reflect pre and post-war Britain.
