What a fun-packed term this has been!
Year 6 have been doing Booster sessions in the afternoons in maths, reading and grammar to get ready for the SATs!
At the beginning of term 4 we enjoyed World Book Day by taking part in a live online lesson with real-life authors and illustrators. This inspired many of us to write our own stories. We also made book jackets to recommend our favourite books to other children.
We went on an adventure to the ‘Big Pit’ museum in Blaenavon, Wales. It was a freezing cold, blustery day, however the we had the opportunity go underground to the actual pit!
During Science week we enjoyed using lemons and other fruit to light up a bulb!
Finally, during the busiest term of the school year, Year 6 went on their 3-day residential trip to PGL Liddington. You can see us in some of the photographs below.
