Another excellent term with our hard-working Badgers! We have been working really hard writing formal letters to Tim Peake and NASA and also writing fantastic stories set in space. We were very impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and use of adventurous words.
In PE Badgers have enjoyed playing basketball and are becoming much more skilled when playing small-sided games.
Thank you for your support with the wonderful homework they have created – we have enjoyed sharing this with the class.
Our trip to ‘We the curious’ (formerly known as @Bristol) was brilliant fun and a fantastic way to end our topic ‘Earth and Space.’ The children loved exploring the highly interactive museum, taking part in various activities during our ‘Destination Space – Join the Crew’ workshop. As part of this they designed and made rockets to blast at a target, investigated the best material for a space nappy and investigated the effect of air pressure on a marshmallow astronaut! After that they watched a 3D Planetarium show exploring the solar system! They were amazed.
Have a lovely Christmas and we look forward to seeing your children ready for their next adventure in learning in the New Year.
