We had a lovely first term full of achievements.  Many children earned their pen licences while others made great progress with their reading.  Our topic of ‘Habitats and living things’ has gone down well with the children learning about famous naturists such as David Attenborough and Jane Goodall, creating their own food webs and learning about animals adaptations to their environment.

The trip to Longleat was amazing.  The children did us proud; their behaviour was excellent and they were engaged and keen to learn all day.  The children all had the opportunity to document the day by taking photographs with the iPads.

The children worked hard on their reading to earn a day of reading rewards. We had a lovely day reading to reception, sharing our favourite stories and watching Matilda.

We were also lucky enough to have a Martial Arts taster session. The children had a brilliant time!

Parent’s evening was a great end to the term.  We enjoyed sharing your children’s successes with you and we’re sure there are plenty more to come.
