What a busy term! Badgers have been working very hard continuing to learn about our topic ‘Habitats and living things.’ They have been learning about life cycles of mammals, amphibians, birds and insects as well as researching gestation periods. Moving on to learning about the human body, they found out about the process of digestion and produced some fantastic homework about teeth. Thank you very much for your hard work on this.
Badgers class have worked hard to produce some super descriptive writing about Arctic habitats, many of which are displayed in the school hall. We also wrote snow dragon stories and worked on writing and performing their poems called ‘The Jungle Rap.’
In PE the children enjoyed learning a brand new sport – fencing! This culminated in an exciting whole class tournament to put their newly acquired skills to the test!
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year ready for our next topic ‘Ancient Greece.’
