This term has been extremely busy- but, as always, the children have all risen to the challenge of a strenuous timetable!
Our topic has been enjoyed by all! The children have enthusiastically joined in and have become extremely knowledgeable! Our ‘Space Day’ was filled with Space themed activities including, investigating the landing mechanism of the Mars Rover, acting out a space themed play, building paper rockets and making star maps.
Thank you all for supporting our visit to @Bristol, where we were able to experience many other activities.
Other activities that we have been lucky to experience are rhythmic gymnastics, our marvellous Christmas carol concert, sewing (I do hope you like your Christmas cards!), creating abstract paintings in the style of Peter Thorpe and an author visit.
There were many successes to celebrate- several children gained their pen licences, higher reading levels were attained and our weekly times tables tests showed consistently improved results.
