What an awesome term we have had this time! We have all surprised ourselves with how much we have learnt about Lego. The children have worked so hard and used the theme to help them with all sorts of grammar. We described characters with noun phrases, we used capital letters for all their names when we learned about proper nouns, we used speech marks to show what the characters were saying and our super Lego party helped us develop amazing ideas for a new Lego story!

We have also been busy learning about Isambard Kingdom Brunel with our topic finale being a trip to the Steam Museum. We had a great day and seeing so much in the museum really brought the history to life. We couldn’t believe the size of some of the wheels on the trains and we had lots of fun being signal operators and a train drivers.
In our computing lessons we are learning to be programmers by using algorithms and coding. We have managed to instruct figures to move all around our screens with the correct code. We are looking forward to continuing this next term.
In Science we have looked at how to keep healthy. We have thought about our diets, exercise and other things we need to do to keep us healthy. We look forward to using all our knowledge to ensure we remain the fittest we can.

We hope everyone has a lovely Easter and has a well-deserved rest so they come back raring to go next term.
